Breakdown of 2020 Chevrolet Traverse Trims

2020 Chevy Traverse

Two years after a far-reaching revamp, the Chevrolet Traverse makes a comeback with multiple minor upgrades for 2020.

What's new for the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse?

Some new elements have been added to option packages. For instance - An automatic heated steering wheel now joins the Driver Confidence II package family, and the Chevrolet Infotainment III system makes its first appearance, presenting appealing graphics and a more streamlined smartphone-style touchscreen mechanism.

A more chief change is that the RS trim is a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that receives ax. A V6 engine is regular across the board for the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse.

Concisely It Includes;

  • The V6 engine is now common across the lineup
  • Upgraded navigation and infotainment systems
  • More features added to option packages
The Traverse's seven trim levels are a little much, but the LT Cloth trim combined with the Convenience and -Driver Confidence package are standard on the all-wheel-drive version. AWD offers all you are seeking for.

It combines the LT trim's necessary updates with essential, optional safety aspects, striking the right balance between livability and cost.

Here is the New 2020 Traverse Models Descriptions;

The 2020 Chevrolet Traverse is equipped with seven trim levels:

  • 2020 Traverse L
  • 2020 Traverse LS
  • 2020 Traverse LT Cloth
  • 2020 Traverse LT Leather
  • 2020 Traverse RS
  • 2020 Traverse Premier
  • 2020 Traverse High Country
Each of these trims come with a 3.6-liter V6, 266 lb-ft of torque and 310 horsepower, combined with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Most trims are equipped with standard front-wheel drive-FWD or optional all-wheel drive-AWD.

The Traverse base model is equipped with aspects such as cloth upholstery, a rearview camera, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and smartphone integration, a 7-inch touchscreen display interface, and an onboard Wi-Fi along with 18-inch wheels.

The L trims may not be much on a dealer's lot; thus, the LS trim would be the starting point for most citizens.

Basically, it comes with the same tools as the L offers. But the LS trim is equipped with optional all-wheel drive and a few extra preferences – such as USB charging with second-row tablet mounts.

Moving forward with the LT Cloth model, it substitutes the second-row bench seat with captain's chairs. That minimizes seating capacity to seven, but the good news is that the bench can be added back as it’s an alternative interface.

The LT Cloth also offers two alternative packages.

1.     One adds up necessary driver safety aids and an upgraded infotainment system.
2.     A Trailers hitch and upgraded cooling system.

As the name suggests, the LT Leather comes regular with leather upholstery. An alternative to choosing a Premium package with an upgraded audio system, navigation, and top-down parking camera system is also offered.

The RS is equipped much alike the LT Leather and comes common with Premium package elements. But it also features exclusive styling accents and cues such as 20-inch wheels and a blacked-out grille, bowtie badge, and 20-inch wheels.

The Premier is close on top of the segment with ventilated front seats, liftgate, wireless device charging, and an optional sunroof. The leading trim of 2020 Chevy Traverse High Country is occupied with the entire Premier's goodies and an advanced all-wheel-drive mechanism, adaptive cruise control, and panoramic sunroof.

Well, we hope all of the trim mentioned above levels would make your purchasing efforts more convenient, and still, if there any doubts wandering, do not forget to visit the Reliance Chevrolet Buick GMC inventory today!
